Billing, trials and invoices

How the trial, the monthly subscription and the performance fee work: what the fee is charged on, and why a month ending flat or down costs no fee.

Last reviewed: 25 August 2026

The two charges, and what each is for

There are exactly two, and they are unrelated to each other:

  • A monthly subscription from $19.99, depending on the plan, which is what keeps the agent analysing your market data and producing proposals.
  • A performance fee, charged as a percentage of the net profit your account accumulated during that billing month.

There is no setup fee, no per-trade commission from us, and no charge for the console. Your broker's own spreads, commissions and swaps are separate and are paid to your broker, not to us.

The free trial

New accounts get 7 days free, starting when the account is created. It works on both demo and live accounts, and we recommend spending it on demo.

When the trial ends, proposals stop until a subscription is active. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a trial that you did not convert.

How the performance fee is calculated

The fee applies to net profit accumulated in a billing month — not to your account balance, not to turnover, and not to gross winning trades before losing trades are subtracted. The rate currently runs 3.9%–9.9%, and it falls as profit grows rather than rising: the percentage is set by which tier that month's net profit falls into.

Performance fee tiers by monthly net profit
Month's net profitFee on that profit
$100 – $5009.9%
$500.01 – $2,0007.9%
$2,000.01 – $5,0006.9%
$5,000.01 – $10,0005.9%
$10,000.01 – $30,0004.9%
Above $30,000.013.9%

A losing month costs no performance fee

If the billing month does not end profitable on a net basis, the performance fee is zero. The monthly subscription still applies — that is the part that pays for the service running at all.

There is also a floor: net profit below $100 in a month is not charged a performance fee at all.

Profit is aggregated from completed positions on live accounts for the billing month. Demo activity is never billed: demo trades are tracked separately and are excluded from every profit calculation.

What you are charged and when

  • The subscription recurs monthly from the date it starts.
  • The performance fee is calculated after the billing month closes, then issued as its own invoice. It is not taken from your trading account — we have no access to it — it is billed to your payment method.

Both appear in the billing section of the console, with the receipts and invoices listed by month. How payment works covers what you can pay with, where your card details go, and what happens if a payment fails.

Cancelling

The subscription is monthly and can be cancelled from the console. Cancelling stops new proposals from being generated.

Cancelling does not close open positions

Positions already open on your broker account stay open and remain your responsibility. Close them yourself, or leave them to the stop-loss and take-profit levels resting at the broker. A performance fee may still be issued for profit already realised in the month you cancel.

When a refund is and is not due — including why a losing month is not a refundable event — is set out in the refund and cancellation policy.

Prices shown here

The figures on this page are the published prices. Your own invoices are the authoritative record of what you were actually charged. If the two ever disagree, tell us — that is a bug, and we would rather hear about it from you than not at all.

The commercial terms themselves are in the Terms of service; the summary view of pricing is on the Pricing page.
