Terms of service
The agreement between you and Helios when you use the software.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. What this service is
Helios is trading automation software. It connects to a MetaTrader 5 terminal running an account you hold with a broker of your own choosing, and it proposes, evaluates, executes and manages trades on that account according to the configuration you set.
We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or financial institution. We hold no client funds, provide no custody, and give no investment advice or personal recommendations. Your relationship with your broker is yours alone.
2. Eligibility
You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction, and using Helios must be lawful where you are. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you, including any tax obligations arising from your trading.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@helios.trade if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.
Your broker credentials are never requested by, transmitted to, or stored by Helios. The connection to your account is made by the MetaTrader 5 terminal you control.
4. Fees and billing
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires an active monthly subscription of $19.99 per month for the entry plan, charged in advance.
In addition, a performance fee is charged monthly on the net profit your account accumulated during that billing month, at a tiered rate between 5% and 15% depending on the amount of that net profit. Where a billing month produces no net profit, no performance fee is charged for that month. Current rates are shown on the pricing page, and we will give notice before any change takes effect.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Failure of a payment may result in suspension of the service; suspension stops new trade proposals and does not close positions already open on your broker account.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page in the console. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The cases in which a charge is refunded are set out in the refund and cancellation policy. Any performance fee already accrued for the period remains payable.
Cancelling stops new trade proposals. It does not close positions open on your broker account. Managing or closing those positions remains your responsibility.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the software, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable in your jurisdiction;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties as your own;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
- use the service for market manipulation or any unlawful purpose.
7. No warranty of performance
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that trades will be executed at any particular price, or that use of the service will be profitable. Trading carries a risk of total loss of capital — see the risk disclosure, which forms part of these terms.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Helios is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including losses arising from software defects, service interruption, market data failures, broker behaviour, or decisions made by the automated system.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued operation would present a security or integrity risk to the service or its users. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice first.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, and the “last updated” date above will change. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
